Private Agistment · Ararimu
Gated, watched, and held to a standard. A calm, private place for an owner who wants to know their horse is safe, seen every day, and somewhere peaceful. Four horses, no more.
What it's like
The reason to keep a horse here is peace of mind. Everything below answers the one question that matters: will my horse be alright?
Will it be calm and have room?
Grazing kept deliberately uncrowded, so horses have space, shelter and calm ground, never packed into one big mob. Four horses on the whole place. That is the point.
Is anyone actually watching?
A daily welfare check by an owner who lives on site and knows horses. An optional camera over the paddocks lets you see yours from your phone, any time. You are never wondering.
Is it secure, and is my gear safe?
Locked, gated entry and camera coverage across the property, with dedicated float parking. Your own lockable tack and feed storage in a sound, dry barn. You always know the gate is shut.
Can I ride when I actually have time?
A quality sand arena on a sound, purpose-built base, floodlit for evening work and ridable year-round. Jumps available. Ride after the commute, in the dark, in winter. A quiet bonus, never a crowd.
Who looks after your horse
This isn't a commercial barn with rotating staff. It's a private place, run by the owner who lives here, beside their own horses. The same person who built the yard does the daily check. That's why it stays to four, and why it stays calm.
Come and walk the place. Meet the horses already here. Decide for yourself whether it feels right for yours.
The setting
A private, rear-position block between Ararimu and Hunua. Quiet, fenced, and genuinely peaceful, fifteen minutes from the motorway and on the edge of Auckland's fastest-growing corridor as the new Drury metro and rail reshape the south.
Who it suits
Kept deliberately small. Honest about who it's for, and who it isn't.
Your horse is your priority and you want it somewhere safe, calm and watched. You value a quiet, private place over a busy commercial barn, and peace of mind over a crowd.
You're a serious or competition rider who needs a floodlit, all-weather surface to school early or after dark, year-round, somewhere quiet rather than a packed centre.
You're after a large commercial barn with full training and a busy social scene. We keep it to four horses, deliberately, so it stays quiet.
